A Very Special Gift

So, a month had gone by since I lost my little Bear.  And I wanted to go through her pictures, and choose one for printing and framing. I tried~ I would start, and then have to quit when the tears blurred my eyes.  I gave up.

The next morning, I had a message from my friend Brandy.  I won her giveaway!  A hand-drawn portrait by a talented artist, of anyone I wanted.  Brandy said she was reluctant to draw animals though....but in my heart, I knew it had to be Bear.

And really, isn't this the cutest portrait a kitten Mom could want?  It's beyond beautiful.  I am so very thankful. Don't be reluctant, Brandy.  Bear says it is time for you to draw many more animals.

Stop by Brandy's blog and say hello.  Keep your eyes open for her next giveaway!  And check out her etsy shop, Contemporary & Fine Art.  So many beautiful treasures to browse, and you will find art in every price range.

Thank you Brandy.  This little portrait of Bear means so much to me.

It's a Dark Night this morning!

My Dark Night treasury was on the Etsy front page at 5am today!  Well, I was sleeping, but happy nevertheless.  Congrats to everyone who was featured and especially to Niftic and GoGoVintage, their items sold. Yay!
